The band has adopted this charity for the Birmingham Children's Hospital and will be undertaking fund-raising
concerts as well as activities by individual members. This was the idea of our musical director, Tony Veal who is a
Governor of the hospital.
The launch was undertaken by way of a presentation to the band by TV and radio presenter Peter
Tomlinson in his capacity as Ambassador to the charity. He is also a Director of the hospital.
Our first concert involved a collaboration with pupils from George Fentham School, Hampton in Arden and,
together with donations from the school and Lloyds TSB, we raised £800.
